Positioning
A learning project. It's here as evidence of systems-programming work, not a usable operating system, and it replaces nothing.
Main modules
- Address spaces: page tables and virtual memory.
- Processes and scheduling: process model, context switch, scheduler.
- Files and syscalls: a basic filesystem and system-call interface.
- Two architectures: one kernel targeting both RISC-V and LoongArch, with arch-specific code isolated at the bottom.
Stack
- Rust in a no-std environment.
- RISC-V / LoongArch — two ISAs, the latter a domestic Chinese architecture.
- QEMU for emulation and debugging.
